Key Responsibilities

• As a Data Scientist on the Fundamental Equity Technology Team, you will:
• Leverage Advanced Data Techniques: Use machine learning models, statistical analysis, and algorithmic programming to extract, analyze, and visualize data insights that support our equity research and investment teams.
• Collaborate with Financial Analysts and Developers: Work closely with financial analysts and software developers to build robust data solutions and improve the accuracy of our fundamental equity models.
• Create Predictive Models: Develop and test predictive models to forecast market trends and stock performance, helping guide key investment decisions.
• Optimize Data Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines, ensuring that our data is always accurate, accessible, and actionable.
• Continuously Innovate: Stay updated on the latest data science trends and tools, applying new methodologies that could give our investment strategies a competitive edge.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a candidate with:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Familiarity with machine learning libraries and frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Financial Knowledge: A solid understanding of finance, equity markets, and investment principles.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to tackle complex data challenges.
