As a Developer Advocate at AWS, you'll be at the forefront of the fast-evolving world of Generative AI. You'll work with customers, internal teams, and the broader developer ecosystem to promote AWS’s powerful AI solutions, all while championing the needs and challenges of developers building on our platform. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the developer experience at AWS and help redefine how AI tools and technologies empower software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage & Advocate: Act as a technical spokesperson for AWS’s Generative AI offerings, including services like Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and more, to the global developer community.
• Content Creation: Create high-impact technical content that educates and inspires developers about the latest in Generative AI and AWS’s tools. This could include blog posts, tutorials, videos, code samples, and webinars.
• Community Building: Develop and nurture relationships with external developer communities, influencers, and thought leaders. Be an advocate for the developers’ needs, providing feedback and insights to the AWS product teams.
• Customer Interactions: Work directly with customers and partners to provide deep technical support, answer questions, and guide them through the process of building and deploying AI-powered applications on AWS.
• Product Feedback: Be the voice of the community, providing valuable feedback to AWS teams to improve and enhance our Generative AI and developer-focused products and services.
• Present & Speak: Represent AWS at technical conferences, webinars, meetups, and developer events. Deliver compelling talks, demonstrations, and workshops that showcase the power of Generative AI.

Basic Qualifications

• Proven experience in the software development field with a strong understanding of cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
• Expertise in Generative AI, Machine Learning, and AI-driven solutions, with experience building or deploying AI-powered applications.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to create clear, compelling, and engaging technical content for developers.
• A deep passion for educating and empowering developers through blogs, videos, talks, and community engagement.
• Strong social media presence and experience with outreach and engagement on platforms like Twitter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, Reddit, etc.
• A demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment with product, engineering, and customer teams.
