About the Role:

In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing, executing, and refining content strategies that inspire, inform, and engage our internal teams. You will work closely with cross-functional departments to create high-quality, on-brand content for a variety of internal platforms, including newsletters, intranet articles, announcements, and training materials. You will also be instrumental in aligning the content with company culture, values, and goals.

As the Senior Internal Content Specialist, your expertise will directly influence employee engagement, retention, and the overall success of our internal communication efforts. You will lead the charge in creating meaningful narratives that enhance employee experience and connect our team members with the company’s mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy Development: Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive internal content strategy that aligns with company values, objectives, and goals.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Marketing, and other departments to create content that supports various internal initiatives such as onboarding, employee engagement, and professional development.
  • Internal Communications Leadership: Drive the communication of key messages and updates throughout the organization in a clear, engaging, and thoughtful manner.
  • Content Creation & Editing: Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content across a variety of formats including emails, blogs, newsletters, and video scripts.
  • Brand Voice Consistency: Ensure that all internal content consistently reflects the company’s tone, voice, and values.
  • Employee Engagement & Feedback: Actively seek employee feedback to understand content preferences and areas for improvement, using insights to continually refine the content strategy.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Track and measure the effectiveness of internal content and communications, providing regular reports and suggestions for optimization.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in content creation, writing, or communications, with at least 2 years in an internal communication-focused role.
  • Creative & Strategic Thinking: Ability to think both creatively and strategically, balancing innovative content with clear, impactful messaging.
  • Exceptional Writing Skills: A strong writer with an eye for detail, capable of producing content that is both engaging and aligned with company values.
  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent team player with the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments to execute content initiatives.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with content management systems, internal communication tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Adaptability & Multitasking: Comfortable managing multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
