As a Senior/Manager, Model & AI Governance, you’ll take the lead in defining, implementing, and monitoring frameworks that uphold transparency, fairness, and accountability in the development and deployment of AI and machine learning models.

What You’ll Do:
- Design Governance Frameworks: Develop and implement robust AI and model governance structures, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and ethical guidelines.
- Monitor AI Performance: Establish monitoring systems to track model performance, bias, and fairness, ensuring consistent and reliable results across applications.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, risk managers, and legal teams to integrate governance into the AI development lifecycle.
- Conduct Audits and Assessments: Lead regular reviews of AI systems to evaluate compliance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Develop Best Practices: Create documentation and training materials to promote awareness and understanding of AI governance principles across the organization.
- Stay Ahead of Trends: Monitor emerging regulations, standards, and trends in AI governance to adapt and future-proof internal practices.
- Drive Ethical AI Initiatives: Champion the ethical use of AI technologies, fostering trust and transparency in their application.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in AI governance, risk management, compliance, or a related field, with a strong focus on machine learning and AI systems.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML lifecycle management, including model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards such as GDPR, CCPA, or ISO/IEC AI governance guidelines.
- Expertise in tools and platforms for model explainability, bias detection, and performance monitoring (e.g., SHAP, LIME, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and address risks in complex technical systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience bridging the gap between technical and non-technical audiences.
- Passion for promoting ethical, transparent, and responsible AI practices.
Bonus Points:
- Experience implementing MLOps or governance frameworks at scale.
- Certifications in AI governance or risk management (e.g., Certified Ethical Emerging Technologist, or similar).
- Advanced knowledge of machine learning models, algorithms, and data science workflows.
- Background in legal, regulatory, or ethical policy development related to AI technologies.
- Advanced degree (M.S./Ph.D.) in a relevant field such as Data Science, AI Ethics, Law, or Computer Science.
