What You’ll Do:

  • Secure Infrastructure: Design, implement, and manage security solutions to protect our networks, systems, and data from unauthorized access, malware, and other cyber threats.
  • Threat Detection & Response: Continuously monitor security systems for vulnerabilities, investigate potential threats, and respond to incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Implement Security Best Practices: Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct Penetration Testing: Perform regular security audits and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in our systems and address vulnerabilities before they can be exploited.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with engineering, IT, and product teams to integrate security into all aspects of our development and deployment processes.
  • Stay Ahead of Threats: Research and stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and emerging threats to proactively adapt and strengthen our defense mechanisms.
  • Educate & Train: Raise awareness across the organization about security best practices, providing training and guidance to help employees recognize potential threats and avoid risky behaviors.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field, with hands-on experience securing systems, networks, and applications.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and endpoint security.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, or SOC 2.
  • Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS, antivirus, encryption, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate tasks and improve security measures.
  • Understanding of cloud security practices and securing cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with incident response processes, including root cause analysis, containment, remediation, and recovery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think like an attacker to anticipate threats.

Bonus Points:

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CISA, or CISM.
  • Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools like Kali Linux, Metasploit, or Burp Suite.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security automation in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with identity and access management (IAM), including tools like Okta or Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, or SOX.
