What You’ll Do:
- Lead Computer Vision Research: Conduct world-class research in computer vision, exploring novel approaches to image recognition, object detection, visual scene understanding, and video analysis.
- Develop Cutting-Edge Algorithms: Innovate and design new algorithms that advance the state of the art in computer vision, applying them to real-world problems such as autonomous systems, robotics, medical imaging, and AR/VR.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams to integrate computer vision solutions into impactful products and systems.
- Publish and Share Knowledge: Contribute to academic journals, conferences, and internal knowledge sharing to disseminate new findings and solutions to the broader computer vision and AI communities.
- Optimize Model Performance: Develop scalable and efficient algorithms that can run on real-time systems and deploy them in production environments, ensuring robust performance across diverse use cases.
- Stay at the Forefront of Vision Research: Keep up with the latest developments in computer vision, deep learning, and machine learning to maintain a competitive edge in research and application.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in computer vision research, AI, or machine learning, with a focus on deep learning models such as CNNs, GANs, or transformers.
- Strong expertise in image processing, object detection, semantic segmentation, and other core computer vision techniques.
- Advanced coding skills in Python, C++, or similar programming languages, and experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or OpenCV.
- In-depth knowledge of deep learning algorithms, neural networks, and their application to computer vision challenges.
- A solid understanding of mathematics (linear algebra, optimization, statistics) and its application to computer vision and machine learning models.
- Experience working on real-world applications of computer vision, such as autonomous vehicles, medical imaging, or augmented reality.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative mindset for addressing complex, open-ended challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present research findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus Points:
- A PhD in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
- Experience with 3D computer vision, point cloud data, or motion tracking.
- Familiarity with edge computing and optimizing vision models for mobile or embedded systems.
- Previous experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, and deploying vision models in scalable environments.
- Contributions to the computer vision community, including publications, open-source projects, or leading talks at conferences.
- Familiarity with multi-modal AI systems (e.g., integrating computer vision with natural language processing or robotics).
