What You’ll Do:
- Strategic Leadership: Act as a thought leader and strategic advisor to energy and O&G clients, identifying opportunities to address complex business challenges through innovative technology solutions.
- Client Engagement: Build and nurture deep, trusted relationships with C-suite stakeholders, providing insights and driving conversations that shape long-term strategies and partnerships.
- Digital Transformation: Architect and implement technology roadmaps that modernize energy operations, enhance sustainability, and improve efficiency through AI, IoT, cloud, and advanced analytics.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver end-to-end solutions tailored to the unique needs of the energy sector, from exploration and production to distribution and sustainability.
- Business Development: Drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, leading RFP processes, and creating innovative go-to-market strategies that align with client goals.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of consultants and engineers to deliver exceptional value and outcomes for clients.
- Sustainability Focus: Champion sustainable solutions that align with global energy transition goals, helping clients achieve net-zero emissions and adopt renewable energy strategies.
- Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep a pulse on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to proactively advise clients and position Kyndryl as a leader in the energy sector.
What We’re Looking For:
- 10+ years of experience in consulting, business strategy, or technology leadership roles within the energy or oil & gas industry.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives, ideally within energy and O&G domains.
- Expertise in leveraging technologies like AI, IoT, cloud computing, edge computing, and big data analytics to solve complex industry challenges.
- Strong understanding of energy market trends, regulatory landscapes, and sustainability initiatives, including renewable energy and net-zero strategies.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire both internal teams and external clients.
- Proven business acumen, with a history of driving growth, managing P&L, and successfully developing new business opportunities.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and familiarity with digital twin or smart grid solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

- Experience with energy transition projects, such as renewable energy integration, hydrogen technologies, or carbon capture initiatives.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies like blockchain for energy, predictive maintenance, and autonomous systems in O&G operations.
- Published thought leadership articles or presentations at industry conferences showcasing expertise in digital transformation or energy trends.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices tailored to the energy industry.
- Certification in project management, cloud computing, or sustainability frameworks (e.g., PMP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, LEED).
