Your Mission:
As a Senior Machine Learning Researcher, you’ll play a critical role in advancing Launch Potato's data science capabilities and ensuring our solutions stay at the cutting edge. Your work will directly impact key areas like customer personalization, monetization models, and lead quality optimization.
You’ll work with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and optimize innovative ML models such as Multi-Armed Bandit (MAB) solutions and recommendation systems, driving real business outcomes across our key verticals like Credit Cards, Insurance, and Prizes & Games.
Key Responsibilities:
- Innovative Machine Learning Solutions: Design, implement, and optimize scalable ML models that improve company performance metrics within the first 12 months. You’ll work on MAB solutions, recommendation systems, and more.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business Intelligence teams to integrate ML models across various business initiatives, driving growth and customer success.
- Ownership and Leadership: Take charge of high-impact ML projects, from ideation to implementation, ensuring their success across different business units.
- Mentorship: As a thought leader, you’ll mentor junior data scientists and contribute to building the next generation of ML talent at Launch Potato.
- Efficiency and Scalability: Create containerized ML models using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure ease of deployment, scalability, and optimal performance.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience: At least 4 years of hands-on, in-the-weeds experience as a data scientist with a focus on machine learning.
- Industry Expertise: Solid understanding of performance marketing or lead generation and how to leverage data science to optimize monetization and lead quality.
- Specialization in ML: Proven experience building and deploying Multi-Armed Bandit (MAB) solutions, recommendation systems, and deep learning models.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, along with experience in cloud services (AWS, GCP) and the ML lifecycle.
- Analytical Excellence: A track record of using ML models to drive significant improvements in business performance metrics.
- Curiosity and Innovation: A passion for staying on top of the latest trends in ML/AI and continuously applying that knowledge to solve business problems.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with LLMs: Knowledge of utilizing Large Language Models and deep learning techniques for business solutions and personalization.
- Data Visualization: Familiarity with tools like Looker to effectively communicate insights.
- Team Leadership: Experience mentoring or managing junior data scientists and helping shape the future of a growing data science team.
