What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Data and AI Specialist, you’ll drive initiatives that support our LLM (Large Language Models) capabilities and the broader data management strategy. Your efforts will help shape the future of Crunchbase’s dataset, ensuring both accuracy and scalability.
- Optimize AI Models: Experiment with various prompts and fine-tune LLM outputs to achieve precise results that enhance our dataset’s performance.
- Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with data scientists and engineers to create and refine training datasets, optimizing AI models to solve real-world problems.
- Measure Performance: Define performance metrics for LLM models and regularly evaluate their efficiency to continually improve and push the boundaries of AI in data management.
- AI Tooling: Maintain and update the tools supporting AI initiatives, staying ahead of industry trends to ensure we’re using the best practices and technologies.
- Quality Control: Review and audit outsourced team data, ensuring that Crunchbase's information stays accurate, reliable, and valuable to our users.
- Industry Insight: Stay informed on the latest advancements in AI, data management, and ethical considerations to ensure we’re always working with cutting-edge technologies.
What We’re Looking For:

- Required Skills/Abilities:
- 1+ years of experience in data labeling or data management.
- Experience with LLMs like GPT and a keen interest in exploring AI for data optimization.
- Strong SQL skills and a basic understanding of Python.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with a knack for problem-solving and data-driven decision making.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate seamlessly within a team.
