What You’ll Do:

As a Data Scientist 2 at DENSO, you'll work with a passionate team to drive impactful business outcomes by leveraging data analytics and machine learning to enhance operations across various domains, from manufacturing to supply chain and beyond. Your role will be dynamic, engaging, and impactful!

• Build Cutting-Edge Models: Develop and maintain statistical and machine learning models that extract valuable insights from large, complex datasets to drive business intelligence and predictive analytics solutions.
• Collaborate and Innovate: Work with cross-functional teams to design scalable data solutions and enhance current systems, ensuring that data-driven insights lead to smarter decisions.
• Optimize Data Solutions: Translate data findings into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders and management, ensuring our products and processes reach new levels of efficiency.
• Champion Data Quality: Proactively monitor and enhance data quality, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to ensure accuracy and reliability across large datasets.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep up with the latest Big Data trends, attend seminars, and participate in ongoing training to continuously develop your skills and apply innovative solutions.

Who You Are:

You’re a driven and results-oriented Data Scientist who thrives on solving complex problems and has the ability to turn data into powerful insights. You are passionate about machine learning, statistics, and AI, and have a solid foundation in cloud tools and data modeling.

• Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or analytics.
  • Proficiency with programming languages like Python, SQL, R, or Java.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods, data manipulation, and data analysis.

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in IoT, deploying machine learning models to devices, and working with Big Data technologies like Hadoop.
  • Familiarity with Computer Vision and developing AI algorithms.
  • Experience in the Automotive industry and contributing to product development supported by data science.
