What You’ll Do:
As an AI Data Specialist, you will play a central role in shaping the AI/ML strategy for Deloitte’s Human Capital Consulting Asset Shop. Your work will directly impact clients by designing, building, and deploying innovative AI applications that drive business transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Define the AI/ML/Generative AI vision and ensure alignment with client goals, while guiding the creation of realistic, scalable technical implementations.
- Architectural Design: Design and implement end-to-end AI architectures, integrating with cloud and on-premise systems to deliver high-performance, AI-powered solutions.
- Research & Development: Lead research efforts to innovate and build new AI solutions that address real-world business challenges, balancing quality, scalability, performance, and cost.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with data scientists, engineers, and business consultants to pilot AI use cases, and ensure that technical designs align with business strategies.
- Consulting & Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, sharing insights on AI trends, business implications, and best practices for AI implementation.
- Operational Excellence: Contribute to the development of best practices in MLOps, LLMOps, and cloud-native tools, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment of AI models and applications.
- Risk & Ethics: Manage the ethical implementation of AI, ensuring solutions comply with security, risk, and regulatory standards, while mitigating challenges like data poisoning or adversarial attacks.
- Product Strategy: Guide AI product managers and stakeholders in evaluating the potential of AI solutions, and help translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
What You Bring:
We are looking for a passionate, solution-driven AI Data Specialist with the skills to bring transformative AI models to life.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience leading AI/ML initiatives and managing teams in a consulting environment (both onshore and offshore).
- Expertise in Machine Learning, Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, and Large Language Models.
- Proven track record in AI model development, from design and architecture to deployment and maintenance.
- Extensive experience working in cloud-based AI environments (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions, with experience in preparing design documents and leading full system development cycles.
- 5+ years of experience in data science, statistical analysis, and machine learning, with hands-on experience in both supervised and unsupervised learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a related field.
- Certifications in AI/ML technologies and Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty, Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer).
- Experience in building AI-powered applications that integrate with business processes to drive organizational change.
- Experience with Generative AI and LLMs in production settings, including the development and delivery of these technologies.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: Competitive, based on experience and geographic location. Expected range: $159,375 to $265,625.
