The World Economic Forum is seeking a talented and driven Specialist in Data and AI to join our team in San Francisco. As part of the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR), you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI governance, advancing the responsible deployment of AI technologies, and fostering collaboration between stakeholders across sectors.

As part of our AI Governance Alliance, you'll help ensure that AI systems are transparent, inclusive, and designed with responsibility at their core. You will engage with the brightest minds in AI, technology, and policy, working to create and scale globally harmonized frameworks that guide the ethical use of AI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiative Coordination & Project Management: Oversee project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring smooth collaboration and execution.
  • Community Building: Engage with global leaders in the AI space to foster partnerships and drive forward-thinking discussions.
  • Content Development & Dissemination: Create and share compelling content across digital platforms, sparking interest and action within the Forum community and beyond.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with governments, businesses, academia, and civil society to drive impactful AI governance initiatives.
  • Global Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the Forum to ensure consistency and alignment in our efforts to advance responsible AI practices globally.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required (Master’s preferred in International Policy, Technology Policy, or related fields).
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Data and AI ecosystems or policy, with a strong focus on project management and community engagement.
  • Skills: You should have excellent organizational skills, be a proactive team player, and have a passion for technology and its societal impact.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English is a must, and additional languages are a bonus.
