Now, we are looking for a Lead for Data and AI to join our Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) to help drive the responsible and impactful adoption of data and AI technologies globally.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead Strategic Initiatives: Design, manage, and execute new initiatives focused on the responsible use of AI and data, addressing key challenges such as data sovereignty, cross-border sharing, governance, and AI ethics.
• Build & Mobilize Communities: Foster collaboration between leaders from business, government, academia, civil society, and international organizations to drive impactful, system-level change.
• Shape Global Policy: Develop strategic insights and frameworks to assist policymakers and business leaders in anticipating the societal impact of emerging data and AI technologies.
• Monitor & Evaluate: Track global trends, players, and initiatives in data and AI to ensure our work remains cutting-edge and aligned with the broader landscape.
• Drive Results: Lead teams and initiatives through entrepreneurial, fast-paced environments, ensuring they stay on track and deliver tangible outcomes.
• Thought Leadership: Contribute to thought leadership through publications, reports, and participation in global forums and conferences.

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years of experience in data and AI, with a strong focus on governance, strategy, and value creation.
• A Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, AI, Public Policy, Economics).
• Expertise in data governance, AI ethics, and practical experience in designing business strategies involving data or AI technologies.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-sector projects and building high-performing, diverse teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to connect and collaborate with decision-makers across business, government, and civil society.
• A proactive, results-driven attitude with the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences, including executives, policymakers, and the public.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
