What You'll Be Doing:

As a Data Scientist / Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of combining classic Machine Learning techniques with the latest Generative AI technologies to tackle complex problems in network operations. Your expertise will play a critical role in designing AI systems that will assist with monitoring, diagnosing, and optimizing network performance, helping to drive efficiency and improve service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Develop AI Systems: Create innovative AI-driven solutions that support network operations through generative AI, traditional ML, and advanced statistical techniques.
  • Implement Machine Learning Models: Build and deploy models using supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and deep learning techniques to solve real-world business challenges.
  • Statistical Analysis & Modeling: Perform time series analysis, regression, clustering, hypothesis testing, and other statistical tasks to extract actionable insights from large datasets.
  • Integrate Generative AI Models: Deploy large language models (LLMs) and other generative AI models, including integration with APIs, prompt engineering, and optimization.
  • Data Wrangling & Preprocessing: Clean, transform, and prepare both structured and unstructured data for AI and GenAI applications.
  • Optimization & Fine-Tuning: Apply techniques such as cross-validation, hyperparameter optimization, and model selection to improve model performance.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system integration, accurate data handling, and impactful AI solutions.
  • Clear Communication: Effectively communicate complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring transparency and understanding.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Experience: Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in data science, AI engineering, or related fields.
  • Machine Learning Mastery: Proven expertise in supervised and unsupervised learning, regression, classification, clustering, and time series analysis.
  • Deep Learning Knowledge: Hands-on experience with neural networks, CNNs, RNNs, and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Programming Skills: Proficient in Python (essential), with experience using Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, and Seaborn. Familiarity with R, SQL, and potentially Cypher/GQL for querying complex data sets.
  • Generative AI Expertise: Strong understanding of Generative AI and large language models (LLMs), including experience with prompt engineering, model tuning, and integration into data pipelines.
  • AI System Integration: Experience deploying AI systems and integrating generative models into production environments, focusing on scalability and reliability.
  • Data Visualization & Communication: Expertise in presenting complex data insights through effective visualizations and communicating them to a broad audience.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: $119,000 - $190,000 base salary, depending on experience.
