What You’ll Do

As a Software Test Engineer, you will:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test sophisticated hybrid software, hardware, and web applications.
  • Oversee integration of network operating systems, application programs, and hardware devices to ensure flawless functionality.
  • Conduct testing in lab environments and onboard Navy ships, ensuring systems meet mission-critical requirements.
  • Develop and execute task plans for resilient software systems.
  • Play a key role in system engineering and troubleshooting to deliver cutting-edge solutions for training systems.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
  • Expertise in systems engineering with working knowledge of Unix and C# software development.
  • Proven ability to create and execute detailed task plans.
  • Security+ certification (or the ability to obtain within 3 months of hire).
  • Eligibility for Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with training systems or tools like JIRA and Subversion.
  • Familiarity with operational environments and system integration.
