As AI/ML Engineer, you’ll report to the Director of AI and play a pivotal role in developing transformative machine learning (ML) and generative AI applications that address complex challenges and unlock new opportunities across our business.
What You’ll Do
- AI Innovation: Design, build, and deploy state-of-the-art AI/ML models and applications to tackle high-value business challenges.
- Strategic Leadership: Drive AI initiatives and contribute to shaping Ryan’s long-term AI roadmap.
- Data Mastery: Collect, clean, and preprocess diverse datasets, ensuring quality inputs for cutting-edge model training and fine-tuning.
- Application Engineering: Develop efficient, scalable, and robust code for AI-driven applications using tools like Python and Java.
- Deployment Excellence: Seamlessly integrate AI models into production environments, ensuring stability, scalability, and optimal performance.
- Cost Efficiency: Manage and optimize cost frameworks for production AI systems.
- Cultural Impact: Foster a company-wide data culture, championing data-driven decision-making at all levels.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience designing and deploying AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Expertise in building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications for document analysis, image recognition, and semantic search.
- Hands-on experience fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) for business-specific use cases.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and preprocessing techniques for AI/ML.
- Proven ability to scale AI applications from concept to production.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, NLP, and familiarity with computer vision and ETL.
- Experience with APIs, data integrations, and embedding AI insights into BI platforms.
