What You’ll Do
- AI at Scale: Lead the operationalization of large-scale AI solutions with enterprise-level scalability and performance.
- Engineering Excellence: Guide AI engineers in leveraging best practices for MLOps and AIOps to activate AI solutions.
- Strategic Vision: Contribute to the roadmap for Best Buy’s core AI capabilities, aligning technical innovation with business goals.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Partner with global teams spanning AI, platforms, analytics, compliance, and more to tackle complex challenges.
- Technical Leadership: Drive end-to-end design reviews, code reviews, and deployment strategies for AI applications across diverse domains like generative AI, supervised learning, and reinforcement learning.
What You Bring
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math) or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience building and operationalizing ML/AI products.
- 3+ years of MLOps or AIOps experience, deploying real-time AI models with ultra-low latency and scalability.
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and AI/ML frameworks such as LangChain, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud-native AI solutions, particularly with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong leadership skills in conducting design reviews and deploying mission-critical AI solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in a highly quantitative field.
- Multi-cloud and multi-region integration expertise.
- Relevant certifications in AI/ML or cloud technologies.
- Open-source contributions or a robust GitHub portfolio showcasing your work.
