What You'll Do

Lead AI Innovation

• Spearhead the development of generative AI solutions from concept to production, driving strategic goals.
• Act as an AI visionary, aligning chat capabilities with business objectives and industry best practices.

Develop Advanced AI Systems

• Design and implement customer-facing chat experiences with features like:
  • Personalized product recommendations and descriptions.
  • Chatbots for account management, billing, and order updates.
  • AI agents to streamline internal workflows.
• Build, optimize, and maintain backend systems in Python and Java to power these experiences.
• Master the art of prompt engineering, iterating on AI quality through experimentation.
• Deploy and oversee chatbot components, ensuring seamless scalability and performance.

Ensure Quality Excellence

• Develop tools or processes to monitor and validate chatbot performance, ensuring outstanding user experiences.

Collaborate and Drive Innovation

• Partner with cross-functional teams to align AI projects with broader goals.
• Participate in agile workflows, driving timely and efficient delivery.
• Establish best practices through thorough documentation and knowledge sharing.

What You'll Bring

Must-Have Skills:

• 1+ year of hands-on experience working with foundational LLM models, including deploying and fine-tuning them in production environments.
• 5+ years as a software engineer with expertise in backend development.
• Proficiency in Python or Java.
• Strong understanding of data science concepts to evaluate and optimize performance.
• Experience designing, building, and operating scalable backend systems.
• Familiarity with agile workflows like Kanban or hybrid systems.
• Proven ability to simplify complex technical ideas for non-technical audiences.
• Strong focus on automation and continuous delivery practices.
• Expertise in monitoring and enhancing reliability across tech stacks.
• Background in prompt engineering to refine AI outputs effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Deployed and integrated LLM models into real-world applications.
• Worked with advanced AI agent architectures like AutoGen, MetaGPT, or Semantic Kernel.
• Familiarity with chatbot frameworks such as DialogFlow, Rasa, or Microsoft Bot Framework.
• Fine-tuned LLMs for specific applications.
• Applied AI safety and ethical practices in real-world projects.
