About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Professor – Research Faculty to join the Division of Geriatrics & Gerontology. You will lead groundbreaking research in areas that intersect with aging, such as:

  • Managing multiple chronic conditions
  • Enhancing caregiving practices
  • Leveraging AI and data sciences
  • Addressing health disparities and outcomes
  • Promoting independence in aging populations

Your work will align with Emory’s mission to drive innovation and expand collaborations with distinguished institutions, including:

  • Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
  • Atlanta VA Medical Center
  • Georgia Institute of Technology
  • Morehouse School of Medicine
  • Grady Memorial Hospital

Your Contributions

As a member of our faculty, you’ll:

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking candidates with:

  • MD, PhD, or MD/PhD and a proven track record of academic research.
  • A strong history of external funding and research achievements.
  • The ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and foster collaboration.
  • Expertise in basic science, clinical research, or health services research.

Preference will be given to candidates with interdisciplinary research experience and a commitment to innovation in healthcare.
