This tenure-track position starts in August 2025, with a competitive salary ranging from $142,000 to $148,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

What You’ll Do

As a faculty member, you will:

  • Teach & Inspire: Design and deliver engaging courses in Applied Artificial Intelligence for undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Lead Innovative Research: Conduct impactful research in AI and machine learning, publish in top-tier journals, and pursue grant-funded opportunities.
  • Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work alongside MIS faculty and researchers in areas like data science, cybersecurity, and AI-driven mental healthcare.
  • Mentor the Next Generation: Support and guide diverse students, helping them achieve academic and professional success.

What We’re Looking For

We seek candidates with:

  • Academic Excellence: A doctoral degree in Information Systems or a related field by August 2025.
  • Research Expertise: Strong potential for high-quality, impactful research in AI/machine learning; grant-funded research experience is highly desirable.
  • Teaching Passion: Demonstrated ability or strong potential for teaching excellence in Applied Artificial Intelligence.
  • Diversity Commitment: A dedication to working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and meeting at least two of the Building on Inclusive Excellence (BIE) criteria (see below).
