What You’ll Do
As a Staff Program Manager, you’ll:
- Drive Strategic AI Initiatives: Lead large-scale, multidisciplinary research projects that bring AI from concept to commercialization.
- Collaborate with Innovators: Partner with technical leaders and cross-functional teams to align research goals with organizational strategy.
- Foster Academic Engagement: Oversee research collaborations with top universities and represent Qualcomm at major academic conferences.
- Manage Complex Programs: Track milestones, budgets, resources, and risks to ensure timely delivery of AI innovations.
- Champion Process Excellence: Develop and implement best practices in program management to optimize efficiency and impact.
What Sets You Apart
We’re looking for someone with:
- Deep Technical Expertise: 10+ years in engineering or program management in fields like machine learning, neural networks, multimedia, or data science.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of program management or related work experience.

- Advanced degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in AI, neural networks, or related fields.
- Experience with funded academic research and university collaborations.
- Certifications like PMP or experience with tools like Jira, Tableau, or Microsoft Teams.
