What You’ll Do
As a Data Scientist, you will:
- Collaborate with Analysts: Partner with the credit team to address analytical needs and enhance decision-making.
- Harness Big Data: Leverage public, proprietary, and paid data sources to support bottom-up investment approaches.
- Drive Innovation: Automate repetitive tasks, utilize APIs, and create scalable solutions to increase efficiency.
- Web Scraping & Integration: Extract, clean, and integrate data for comprehensive analysis.
- Statistical Mastery: Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to identify trends, back-test strategies, and uncover correlations.
- Deliver Insights: Present clear, impactful findings to internal teams and external stakeholders, tailoring your approach to diverse audiences.
- Shape the Future: Innovate and enhance the team's data platforms to drive results.
What You Bring
We’re looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with:
Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in R, Python, SQL, and Snowflake
- Knowledge of web scraping and APIs for data extraction
- Hands-on experience with large datasets and data manipulation
Analytical Excellence:
- Strong statistical and machine learning skills
- Ability to automate workflows and optimize processes
- Deep understanding of the financial implications of data analysis
Effective Communication:
- Clear presentation skills to translate complex data into actionable insights

Finance Knowledge (Preferred):
