About the Role
As a Principal AI Scientist, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping cutting-edge AI/ML solutions tailored to national security missions. Your expertise will empower teams, drive innovation, and ensure mission success through:
- Innovative Solution Development: Design and implement state-of-the-art AI/ML, data science, and data engineering techniques.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the go-to resource for AI/ML, data fusion, statistics, and experimental design across projects.
- Thought Leadership: Create and present technical proposals, white papers, and reports that effectively communicate innovative solutions to stakeholders.
- Mentorship: Coach and guide colleagues, fostering a culture of technical excellence within the team.
What You’ll Bring
Basic Qualifications:
- A degree in data science, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or related field:
- Bachelor’s degree + 5+ years of data science/AI experience
- Master’s degree + 2+ years of data science/AI experience
- Doctoral degree in a relevant field
- U.S. Citizenship (required for security clearance purposes).
Technical Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of AI/ML algorithms, data fusion, and data engineering.
- Proficiency in statistics and experimental design.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
Leadership & Communication:
- Experience in leading technical proposal teams and delivering impactful presentations.
