About the Role: Responsible AI Engineer
This isn’t just about building AI; it’s about building it responsibly. As a Responsible AI Engineer, you’ll help clients navigate the complexities of fairness, transparency, and accountability in AI systems while pushing the boundaries of innovation.

Your Mission
In this role, you'll:
- Develop Ethical AI Models: Build and deploy cutting-edge AI solutions while embedding responsible practices.
- Assess AI Risks: Evaluate models for fairness, robustness, explainability, and other Responsible AI dimensions, while mitigating risks.
- Drive Innovation: Stay at the forefront of AI advancements, designing solutions that meet both technical and ethical standards.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to create AI systems that are both innovative and responsible.
- Educate and Lead: Contribute to internal guidelines, best practices, and training programs for Responsible AI development.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development and deployment, including models like regression, neural networks, NLP, or computer vision.
- Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- 4+ years of experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- 2+ years of experience in Responsible AI (bias testing, fairness assessments, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or equivalent experience.
Bonus Points For:
- Knowledge of AI regulations and standards.
- Expertise in Generative AI, prompt engineering, and large-scale model deployment.
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Databricks, etc.).
- Industry specialization (e.g., healthcare, finance, retail).
- Experience in cybersecurity and red-teaming practices.

Compensation
We believe in rewarding talent fairly and transparently. Salaries range based on location and experience:
- California/New York: $73,800 – $220,400
- Colorado/Illinois/Maryland: $68,300 – $190,400
- Washington, D.C.: $78,500 – $202,700
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
