The Role: What You’ll Do
As an Artificial Intelligence Threat Analyst or Lead AI Threat Analyst, your mission will include:
- AI-Powered Investigations: Identify, categorize, and analyze synthetic/augmented media to generate actionable investigative leads for law enforcement.
- Trend Analysis: Detect and report on emerging AI/ML trends and evolving threats.
- Data Storytelling: Create engaging visual data presentations with graphs, charts, and reports to communicate findings effectively.
- Collaboration Hub: Work with federal, state, local, and non-governmental entities to share intelligence and develop robust relationships across communities.
- Continuous Growth: Stay ahead of the curve in AI by pursuing cutting-edge training and education.
The Lead Analyst will go a step further, leveraging their experience to analyze large-scale patterns, guide initiatives, and mentor team members.
What You Bring to the Table
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, law enforcement, sociology, mathematics, engineering).
- 3–5 years of experience in intelligence analysis, data science, or integrated development environments.
- Proficiency in Python, AI/ML tools, and data analysis frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Knowledge of classified and open-source data analysis methods, law enforcement databases, and criminal investigations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred Expertise:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in AI-generated media analysis, law enforcement investigations, or AI development.
- Familiarity with visual studio code, prompt engineering, and generative AI models.
- Advanced experience in outreach, training, and intelligence-sharing initiatives.
