Your Role in Making Magic Happen
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Product Excellence: Use data-driven insights to identify and prioritize impactful quality improvements for Siri and Search products.
- Fine-Tune LLMs: Develop, optimize, and evaluate domain-specific large language models tailored to real-world applications.
- Research & Innovate: Bridge cutting-edge research in generative AI with production-ready solutions.
- Build Advanced Models: Create machine learning systems for intent classification, entity recognition, search relevance, ranking, and query understanding.
- Engineer Seamless Integration: Incorporate search functionalities into Apple products such as Siri, Spotlight, Safari, and Messages.
- Develop End-to-End Systems: Build and deploy production systems that include query understanding and ranking mechanisms.
- Harness Big Data Tools: Leverage Spark, Hadoop MapReduce, Hive, and Impala for distributed data processing.
What You Bring to the Table
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, information retrieval, or knowledge graphs.
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning large language models, and managing data collection/annotation.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or C++.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and excellent data analysis skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with a team-oriented mindset.
- BS in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Data Science, or a related field.
