Your Mission
As a Lead AI/Data Scientist, you will:
- Lead Innovation: Spearhead complex data science projects across supply chain, finance, customer experience, and defense & space domains.
- Develop Solutions: Build advanced machine learning models, algorithms, and statistical frameworks to solve real-world challenges in aerospace manufacturing.
- Drive Scalability: Define and implement data ingestion, preparation, and governance pipelines for large, multi-faceted datasets.
- Mentor & Inspire: Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and project management support to a diverse team of data scientists.
- Deploy & Optimize: Oversee model deployment using MLOps practices, ensuring continuous integration, delivery, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with business partners and customers to define requirements, resolve pain points, and deliver actionable insights.
- Stay Ahead: Leverage emerging technologies and cutting-edge methods to drive continuous improvement and maintain Honeywell’s industry leadership.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience applying data science and advanced analytics in aerospace or related industries.
- Proven track record of delivering data science projects from ideation to production.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with MLOps practices, including model deployment pipelines.
- Expertise in data wrangling, feature engineering, and machine learning model development.
Preferred Skills & Expertise:
- Familiarity with tools like Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
- Experience working with SAP data and implementing Scaled Agile Frameworks.
- Broad knowledge of advanced analytics methods, including generative AI, optimization, and statistics.
- Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership qualities to mentor team members and foster technical growth.
