What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Exploration & Analysis: Evaluate datasets to identify the most relevant inputs for AI models, ensuring optimal outcomes.
- AI Model Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to build ML/AI models for applications like document processing, classification, and scoring, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Model Optimization: Continuously monitor and refine models, implementing observability to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to define metrics for success and seamlessly integrate AI solutions into business workflows.
- Outcome Reporting: Develop dashboards and reports to track model performance and impact, translating complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Mentorship: Guide junior data scientists in best practices for AI model development, data selection, and business alignment.
What You’ll Bring
Basic Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3-5+ years in data science with expertise in machine learning, Generative AI, and data analysis.
- Proven track record in developing AI models tied to measurable business outcomes.
- 5+ years of experience deploying ML/AI models, with 2+ years focused on Generative AI.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, R, or Julia for AI development.
- Expertise in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques and natural language processing (NLP).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for AI model deployment.
- Strong analytical mindset and the ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with operations teams in SG&A domains for workflow optimization.
- Familiarity with business technology domains that combine third-party and homegrown solutions.
- Background in integrating AI solutions into enterprise workflows.
