About the Role
As a Telecommunications Engineer - Risk & Resilience Subject Matter Expert (SME), you’ll play a vital role in supporting the U.S. Department of Defense's mission to protect critical infrastructure and enhance national security. Collaborating with a passionate team of professionals, you’ll tackle complex challenges and deliver meaningful solutions.
This hybrid role is based in Dahlgren, Virginia, offering flexibility for on-site and remote work.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Analyze civilian and military telecommunications systems, networks, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with teammates to assess related infrastructures like electric power.
- Develop comprehensive documentation with an exceptional eye for detail.
- Address quick-turn tasks and provide in-depth analyses to meet client needs.
What You Bring
Must-Haves:
- 4+ years of experience in areas such as telecommunications analysis, communications engineering, network design (fiber, cable, wireless), transport modeling, or GIS software analysis.
- 1+ year of consulting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR equivalent professional experience.
- Active security clearance (client requirement).
- U.S. citizenship (client requirement).
Preferred:
- Background in mission assurance, homeland security, or infrastructure resilience.
- Experience in DoD environments with high-level clearance.
- Outstanding communication, organization, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
