What You'll Do
As the Senior Director, you'll oversee Sabre’s end-to-end data lifecycle, driving excellence in data engineering, architecture, governance, and strategy. Here’s how you’ll contribute:
- Lead the Vision: Develop and execute Sabre’s enterprise-wide data strategy, shaping how advanced analytics, AI/ML, and SaaS technologies directly enhance our business performance.
- Build for Impact: Architect and implement scalable systems, processes, and governance frameworks for the collection, transformation, and utilization of data.
- Inspire Excellence: Lead a diverse team of developers, engineers, and analysts, cultivating a culture of technical innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Collaborate and Influence: Partner with senior leaders, architects, and stakeholders across distributed teams to align data initiatives with business objectives.
- Drive Innovation: Solve complex challenges through advanced programming and analytics technologies, transforming data into actionable insights that fuel growth and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a seasoned leader with the following skills and expertise:
- Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, data analytics, and related fields, including experience in fast-paced Agile environments.
- Proven leadership experience in SaaS or private cloud-hosted environments.
- Technical Excellence:
- Expertise in programming, analytics technologies (e.g., Qlik, Google BigQuery, Convergent Mediation, Boomi, Hyperion, HANA), and solution development.
- Deep understanding of financial planning, billing integrations, and business processes like FP&A.
- Strategic Leadership:
- Ability to develop and implement strategic policies, influence organizational thinking, and foster alignment across diverse teams.
- Proven problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certifications in related fields.
- Communication:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
