The University of San Diego (USD) invites you to become part of our dynamic team as an Adjunct Faculty Member/Developer in the Artificial Intelligence for Business Solutions program.
About the Role:
As an adjunct faculty member, you will play a pivotal role in teaching and/or developing cutting-edge, online self-paced courses designed to equip students with practical AI skills to drive innovation in business. This program features eight 1-unit courses, each lasting four weeks, with a flexible six-month completion timeline for students.

What You’ll Do:
- Teaching:
- Facilitate engaging online learning experiences.
- Assess and support students’ progress through innovative instructional methods and tools.
- Adhere to course deadlines and maintain high standards of academic integrity.
- Course Development:
- Collaborate with the Learning Design Team to craft high-quality, interactive content.
- Utilize cutting-edge learning technologies to deliver impactful lessons.
- Develop courses that align with industry trends and real-world business applications.
Your Work Environment:
- Work Mode: 100% remote. Teach and develop courses from anywhere!

What You Bring:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related disciplines (e.g., mathematics with an emphasis on algorithms, data structures, and Python programming).
- Minimum 2 years of full-time professional experience in AI, machine learning, or similar fields.
- Familiarity with advanced AI techniques like GANs or VAEs is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, or Business Intelligence.
- Background in software engineering, big data, or data analysis.
- Prior experience using the Canvas learning management system is a bonus.
What You’ll Earn:
Hourly rate: $40–$44/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
