Analyst 1 - Inventory Control

Job Description:

We are seeking an Inventory Analyst to play a pivotal role in analyzing and managing production schedules, inventory levels, and customer demand trends. If you thrive on problem-solving, enjoy collaborating across teams, and excel at turning data into actionable insights, this role is for you!


Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Analyze production schedules, shipping records, and customer orders to ensure inventory aligns with demand.
  • Forecast product needs and adjust inventory plans to keep customers satisfied.
  • Maintain and update inventory databases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Revise production schedules based on availability of materials, equipment, and staff.
  • Generate work orders, SKUs, and Bills of Material while ensuring seamless execution.
  • Provide insights and reports by developing queries and sharing critical data with stakeholders.
  • Solve routine challenges independently and collaborate with leadership on more complex issues.

What You Bring to the Table

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; OR High School diploma plus 4+ years of inventory experience.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and basic PowerPoint/Access.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with 2+ years of progressive inventory experience.
  • Hands-on experience with inventory management systems like JDE, WMS, or Showcase Reporting.
  • Ability to analyze trends, interpret complex data, and present insights to managers and stakeholders.
  • Skills in solving real-world problems and making decisions with limited guidance.
  • Proficiency in mathematical concepts like percentages, ratios, and fractions.
