Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Solution Design & Implementation:
- Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-based solutions using Azure and AWS.
- Architect and deliver cloud-based data lakes and data warehouses tailored for AI, ML, reporting, and other enterprise needs.
Pre-Sales & Proposal Writing:
- Participate in pre-sales activities including the creation of RFPs and proposal writing.
- Work closely with sales teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Client Collaboration:
- Partner with clients to understand their unique business requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging AWS and Azure platforms.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on cloud technologies, and helping clients make the best choices for their needs.
Data Integration & Architecture:
- Design and implement integration of various data sources with Data Warehouses and Data Lakes.
- Apply strong understanding of data modeling and data architecture concepts to architect efficient, streamlined systems.
Automation & Efficiency:
- Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency within cloud-based solutions, implementing them where possible.
- Define and enforce cloud governance best practices to ensure sustainable and secure cloud environments.
Training & Knowledge Sharing:
- Conduct training sessions for both clients and internal teams to improve their cloud literacy and technical expertise.
What You Bring to the Table:
Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions, with specific expertise in Azure and AWS.
- Proficient in Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, ADF, and PySpark.
- Strong background in data warehouse design, data lakes, and data integration.
Skills:
- Expertise in cloud architecture and a deep understanding of how to leverage cloud technologies for enterprise solutions.
- Experience in RFP writing and proposal development, with a keen ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid foundation in data modeling, data architecture, and cloud governance practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and articulate pros and cons of different cloud technologies and platforms.
Collaboration:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Ability to lead knowledge-sharing initiatives and mentor teams to build a culture of continuous learning.
