Your Mission: Optimizing Systems for Life-Saving Solutions

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in application development, system integration, and data analytics to enhance our blood banking software and other supporting IT systems. You will be at the forefront of ensuring data accuracy, improving user experience, and supporting the cloud-based operations of our organization.


What You’ll Do

Design & Develop Life-Saving Solutions

  • Lead the administration and enhancement of critical blood-driven software systems, ensuring seamless performance.
  • Design and develop interfaces and integration points between diverse systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, upgrade, and maintain software applications that help save lives.

Analyze Data to Drive Decisions

  • Create dynamic dashboards, reports, and queries to extract key insights from our data.
  • Examine, model, and interpret data to help us make better predictive decisions in our life-saving operations.
  • Assist in maintaining data integrity to ensure high-quality outcomes for our team and the community we serve.

Enhance System Security & Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and maintain security roles and responsibilities to safeguard sensitive data in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software and network issues to ensure smooth system operations.

Support Infrastructure & Networks

  • Assist in the maintenance of servers, networks, and wireless communications, ensuring all systems run without interruption.
  • Use your knowledge of Active Directory, SQL, and AI tools to manage and improve cloud and local backup solutions.

Innovate for the Future

  • Support the development of mobile apps and cloud solutions to improve operations.
  • Research new technologies, including AI-driven tools, to continuously improve our systems and operations.

What You Bring to the Table

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in application design, development, and administration—particularly in database management and software tools like SQL, Oracle, Python, and Java.
  • Proven experience with networking systems (Active Directory, Cisco), data communications, and wireless connectivity.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with data analysis tools (e.g., Crystal Reports, Power Scripting).
  • Familiarity with MAK Systems blood banking software is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a service-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical degree (AS or BS) in Information Systems or Computer Science.
  • Experience with AI and mobile app development.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint for intranet management.
