Your Role in Shaping the Future
As the Director of Automation & AI/MLOps, you’ll lead a dynamic team, building advanced platforms and solutions to fuel data-driven insights, power machine learning operations, and accelerate automation. What You’ll Be Doing
Driving Innovation in AI & Automation
- Architect the Future: Design, develop, and deploy scalable, reliable AI/MLOps platforms capable of processing massive data flows across advanced analytics and AI initiatives.
- Lead with Purpose: Oversee the development of cutting-edge automation and machine learning solutions, ensuring business challenges are met with precision and innovation.
Inspiring Leadership
- Empower a High-Performing Team: Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers, architects, and data scientists, cultivating a culture of collaboration and creativity.
- Define the Vision: Establish technical strategies that align with McKesson’s mission to transform healthcare delivery.

- Foster Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with business units, IT, and analytics teams to develop integrated data solutions that meet evolving business needs.

Championing Data Governance & Security

What We’re Looking For
Experience & Skills
- Proven Leadership: 12+ years in tech roles and 6+ years of experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams in data engineering, AI/MLOps, and business intelligence.
- Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of AI/ML algorithms, statistical models, and data science tools.
- Expertise in modern data architecture, scalable software solutions, and data processing (structured/unstructured).
- Proficiency with data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.
- Knowledge of APIs, SQL-based pipelines, and large-scale data platforms.
- Strategic Visionary: A forward-thinker who can translate complex data workflows into actionable business solutions, driving measurable impact.
- Healthcare Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with data in the drug supply chain or pharma sector is a plus.

- Strong negotiation, decision-making, and change management skills.
- A team-first mentality with the ability to lead through collaboration and innovation.
