What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Machine Learning Researcher at Launch Potato, you'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on key business initiatives by building scalable and innovative ML models. Here’s what you can expect:

• Machine Learning Impact: Develop and deploy cutting-edge machine learning solutions that directly contribute to business performance improvements, particularly in personalization, monetization, and lead generation.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across Product, Engineering, and Business Intelligence to integrate ML models into various verticals, including Credit Cards, Insurance, and Prizes & Games.

• Innovative ML Solutions: Lead the design and development of Multi-Armed Bandit (MAB) solutions, recommendation systems, and deep learning models, while exploring innovative ways to solve business challenges using the latest AI methodologies.

• Ownership & Leadership: Own and lead high-impact ML projects from ideation to deployment. You’ll mentor junior data scientists and help build Launch Potato’s data science team for the future.

• Scalability & Efficiency: Implement containerized ML models using Docker/Kubernetes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and ease of deployment across teams and initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

We need a hands-on, in-the-weeds data scientist who is ready to make a real difference. To succeed in this role, you should have:

• 4+ years of experience in data science with a focus on machine learning (we're looking for someone who has deep, hands-on expertise).
• 2+ years of experience working in performance marketing or lead generation.
• Expertise in Multi-Armed Bandit solutions, recommendation systems (content-based, collaborative filtering, hybrid), and deep learning models.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and familiarity with ML tools like Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS, GCP).
• Analytical Excellence: Proven experience leveraging ML models to improve key performance metrics across an organization.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and deep learning for personalization and business solutions.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Looker to present and communicate insights.
• A history of contributing to the growth of a data science team, and experience mentoring junior team members.
