We’re looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join our team and build solutions that power the next generation of security intelligence. If you’re passionate about cloud environments, data pipelines, and creating impactful features, this role is for you!

What You'll Do:

• Build & Manage Data Pipelines: Support machine learning models by developing and maintaining data pipelines that scale with our growing system.

• Optimize Analytics Pipeline: Work on optimizing our existing analytics pipeline and add new AI-powered analytics features that will directly enhance customer experiences.

• Microservices Development: Create robust, scalable micro-services within a contract-driven Spring Framework architecture to handle dynamic workloads and meet customer demands.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with cross-functional teams, including UI, to expose and manage data through APIs and ensure smooth integration between various layers of the system.

• Work with Cutting-Edge Technology: Leverage frameworks and tools like Spring Boot, NoSQL databases, real-time data pipelining, PyTorch, and more to craft features that customers love.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: BS or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in backend and AI development, with proficiency in Java and Python.

• Skills:

  • Spring Framework: Experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS.
  • AI/ML Exposure: Familiarity with PyTorch and machine learning/AI techniques is a plus.
  • Self-Starter: Ability to make important decisions independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Location: This is an onsite position based in Sacramento, CA, with the flexibility to work from home 2-3 times a week.

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $120,000 - $170,000
• Additional Compensation: Sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and equity options.
• Salary Negotiation: Pay is determined based on skills, experience, and location. Specific details will be discussed during the interview process.
