Your Role: Technology Strategy Expert
As a Technology Strategy Expert at ByteDance, you’ll guide our AGI initiatives, blending deep technical insights with strategic foresight. This isn’t just a job—it’s an opportunity to shape the direction of one of the most exciting and impactful technologies of our time.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Strategic Research: Dive deep into AGI and related fields, identifying trends and opportunities across models, products, and infrastructure.
• Analyze Competitors: Monitor and evaluate key players in the AGI space, dissecting their technological innovations, product strategies, organizational structure, and talent moves.
• Inform Decision-Making: Partner with management to provide strategic insights, guiding key decisions that impact the future of AGI at ByteDance.
• Drive Implementation: Oversee the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.

What You’ll Bring

• Technical Expertise: Educational background in Science or Engineering (e.g., Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Automation). A Ph.D. is a plus!
• Strategic Vision: At least 5 years of experience in Strategy/Management Consulting, Investment, or Corporate Strategy, with a solid understanding of technology-driven industries.
• Analytical Excellence: Proven ability to distill complex data into actionable insights, coupled with strong structural thinking and learning agility.
• Communication Skills: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Mandarin is highly desirable to collaborate effectively with teams and partners in China.
