The Department of Finance at the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota invites applications for our pool of adjunct instructors. As an adjunct, you will have the opportunity to teach dynamic undergraduate and graduate courses in the rapidly evolving field of finance. Whether you specialize in Corporate Finance, Investments, FinTech, Cryptocurrency, AI in Finance, or Sustainable Investments, we are looking for passionate educators who are committed to teaching and mentorship.

Courses are offered in face-to-face, blended, or online formats, with flexibility in teaching schedules to accommodate both daytime and evening classes. Our program serves a diverse population of students, including those in undergraduate, MBA, and specialized graduate business programs.

Qualifications

  • Required:
    • A Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or a closely related field (MBA, MS), with significant industry experience.
  • Preferred:
    • A PhD in Finance or a related field, or professional qualifications such as CFA, CFP, or equivalent certifications.
    • Prior experience teaching finance courses at the undergraduate or graduate level.
