This hybrid role is based in Naperville, IL, St. Paul, MN, or Eagan, MN.

What you’ll do
As an IoT Edge Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Develop and maintain IoT interfaces and software to connect edge devices with cloud-based solutions.
• Build and maintain ML algorithm detection containers, ensuring the software is easily updated.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the edge server software needed to interface with the Azure backend via IoT solutions.
• Work on Kubernetes cluster development to ensure seamless scalability and performance.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in IoT and container development.
• Proficiency in YAML, Python, Linux/Ubuntu, Kubernetes (K3S), and Docker.
• Immigration sponsorship not available for this role.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with GitOps pipeline.
• Familiarity with MQTT IoT and edge computing frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $98,600.00 - $148,000.00 (commensurate with experience, education, and location).
