In this senior-level role, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing complex IT systems, leading project teams, and providing expert guidance across all technical solutions within the organization. What You’ll Do:
- Lead Technical Expertise: Serve as the lead technical expert, setting technical direction, managing complex projects, and guiding teams across various work streams.
- Design and Implement Solutions: Take charge of system design and implementation of new technologies, ensuring seamless integration of AI/ML, containerization, and open-source technologies like R, Apache, and SAS.
- Innovate with AI/ML: Integrate cutting-edge AI and Machine Learning methodologies to optimize existing systems and develop forward-thinking solutions.
- Drive Process Improvements: Lead continuous process improvement initiatives, ensuring the implementation of standardized tools, templates, and best practices across the enterprise.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with business leaders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, effective solutions.
- Oversee Implementation and Integration: Ensure successful deployment of technology solutions, focusing on business impact and seamless operation.
- Mentor and Coach: Promote leadership and learning within teams, foster collaboration, and provide expert advice to drive results.
What We’re Looking For:
- Expertise in Linux & Solaris: Strong background in various flavors of Linux and Solaris, with hands-on experience in system administration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- AI/ML Experience: Experience applying AI and Machine Learning technologies to complex problems and driving innovations in tech-driven environments.
- Containerization Knowledge: Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization technologies.
- Opensource Tech: Hands-on experience with R, Apache, and other opensource platforms.
- Storage Management: Knowledge of storage administration and support, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Project Leadership: At least 10 years of experience in IT consulting, business analysis, or a related field with strong project leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Prior experience in developing systems and technical direction for enterprise-level IT projects.
- Industry Insight: A proven track record of translating business strategy into actionable IT solutions and identifying opportunities for improvement.
