The Role: IoT Edge Engineer
Are you ready to design, develop, and shape the future of IoT-driven innovation? In this hybrid role (based in Naperville, IL; St. Paul, MN; or Eagan, MN), you’ll collaborate with a team of forward-thinkers to develop transformative IoT solutions. Your work will help optimize systems, enhance customer operations, and contribute to a healthier, more sustainable planet.

What You’ll Do

• Develop IoT Solutions: Design, implement, and maintain IoT interfaces, software, and edge server systems to connect with Azure backends seamlessly.
• Integrate AI: Deploy and manage machine learning algorithms through detection containers and future-ready software extensions.
• Leverage Kubernetes: Develop Kubernetes clusters to power IoT functionality efficiently.
• Drive Innovation: Collaborate on cutting-edge technologies, including edge computing frameworks and IoT architecture.

What You Bring

• Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • At least four (4) years of experience in IoT and container development.
  • Proficiency in YAML, Python, Linux/Ubuntu, Kubernetes (K3S), and Docker.
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • GitOps pipeline expertise.
  • Experience with MQTT IoT protocols.
  • Familiarity with edge computing frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $98,600.00 - $148,000.00 (dependent on experience, education, geography, etc.)
