Your Role as VP of Software Development and Digital Transformation

Reporting directly to the CTO, you’ll lead the charge in modernizing our software platforms and spearheading digital transformation initiatives. You’ll inspire teams to adopt Agile methodologies, embrace cutting-edge technologies like the MEAN/MERN stack, and deliver scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Oversee software development teams driving custom applications, workforce optimization systems, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and maximize ROI.
• Define KPIs to measure productivity, success, and value delivery.

Technology Modernization

• Lead cloud adoption, SaaS implementation, and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and microservices architecture.
• Modernize software platforms with the MEAN/MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, React, and Node.js.
• Champion the integration of emerging technologies, such as AI/ML and advanced analytics, into business processes.

Agile Development

• Foster a culture of Agile excellence, ensuring teams deliver high-quality, efficient solutions.
• Promote continuous improvement through the adoption of modern development practices.

Operational Excellence

• Mitigate risks in software development and delivery, ensuring operational stability.
• Collaborate with QA and project management teams to define release schedules and minimize technical debt.

Leadership and Culture

• Build high-performing, results-driven teams.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to second-level managers.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

What You Bring

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience leading enterprise software development, with a focus on custom applications and digital transformation.
• 7+ years in engineering leadership, including mentoring senior managers.
• Proven expertise with the MEAN/MERN stack and cloud-based solutions.
• Extensive experience managing Agile software development teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of Salesforce, Amazon Connect, and automated testing frameworks.
