What You’ll Do

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Innovative Analytics: Design and implement advanced analytics solutions using traditional statistical methods and modern techniques like ML, NLP, and AI.
- Trendspotting: Collect and analyze diverse data sources to identify trends, develop actionable insights, and contribute to impactful public health strategies.
- Algorithm Development: Create algorithms, services, and visualizations for intuitive, data-rich dashboards that inform stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to ongoing process improvements and recommend enhancements to drive better outcomes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clients and team members to recommend research designs and execute analyses aligned with business requirements.
- Database Management: Develop and maintain databases, codebooks, and data dictionaries to ensure accurate documentation and reproducibility.

What You Bring

Qualifications:
- Education: BA/BS required, Masters/PhD preferred in a quantitative discipline or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data science and statistical analysis, with proficiency in Python and/or R.
- Technical Expertise: Skilled in modern data science methods, including ML, NLP, AI, and reproducible research techniques (e.g., RMarkdown, Jupyter Notebooks).
- Big Data Savvy: Experienced in handling large, nationally representative datasets and high-volume data sources.
- Software Development Life Cycle: Familiarity with implementing analytics standards and following SDLC practices.
- Communication: Adept at translating technical findings into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
