Role Overview:

We’re seeking a passionate Advanced Analytics Research Scientist with expertise in Generative AI and Deep Learning to join our AI Center of Excellence in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions for critical industrial use cases, including predictive maintenance, quality control, supply chain optimization, and robotics automation. Your work will directly contribute to the transition from automation to autonomy in industrial applications. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the AI solutions we create are safe, accurate, and impactful when deployed in real-world industrial environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Develop: Create deep learning and generative AI models tailored for industrial applications such as predictive maintenance, quality control, and robotics.
  • Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams to understand operational challenges and build AI solutions that can be implemented in the factory setting.
  • AI in Action: Integrate advanced AI models into existing automation workflows to improve decision-making processes on the factory floor.
  • Test & Validate: Develop strategies for testing and validating generative AI models, ensuring they meet reliability, accuracy, and safety standards for production environments.
  • Proof of Concept: Lead proof-of-concept studies and pilot projects to evaluate the effectiveness of innovative AI approaches in solving real-world industrial problems.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, exploring their potential applications in industrial settings.

The Essentials - What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in AI, deep learning, and data science.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Strong knowledge of reinforcement learning and Generative AI techniques.
  • Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, team-driven environment and tackle complex challenges with creative solutions.

The Preferred - What You Might Also Have:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related fields with a focus on AI and deep learning.
  • Experience with edge computing for deploying AI models at the edge of industrial systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills.
