What You’ll Do

As the Platform Engineer, you’ll:

  • Lead the configuration and optimization of M365 and Google Workspace tools to meet organizational needs.
  • Manage and secure user provisioning, access controls, and devices through tools like Intune and EntralD.
  • Leverage AI platforms like Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI ChatGPT, and Google Gemini to enhance productivity and collaboration.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and integrate best practices from Microsoft and Google to deliver seamless IT experiences.
  • Serve as a key player in aligning technology solutions with Texas A&M’s mission of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.

What We’re Looking For

You’re a strong candidate if you have:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/training.
  • 5+ years of IT experience in cloud technologies, IT automation, networking, or related fields.
  • U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or asylum/refugee status (required for export control).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technology-related discipline.
  • Expertise in M365 and Google Workspace architecture, user management, and security best practices.
  • Experience managing devices with tools like Intune and EntralD.
  • Familiarity with cutting-edge AI tools like OpenAI ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or GitHub Copilot.
