Job Description

We are looking for an innovative and detail-oriented SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our forward-thinking team. As part of our dynamic development environment, you'll leverage the power of Generative AI (Gen AI) to improve our testing processes, generate robust test scripts, and ensure that our software is reliable and performs as expected. You will play a key role in shaping how we use AI to enhance our software quality and testing strategy.

What You’ll Do:

• AI-Driven Test Script Generation: Utilize Gen AI to analyze user stories and acceptance criteria, automatically generating test scripts that reflect the desired features and functionality.
• UI Verification: Leverage AI tools for thorough UI verification, ensuring our user interfaces meet acceptance criteria and deliver an exceptional user experience.
• API Output Validation: Use Gen AI to verify API responses, ensuring correct data is returned and APIs behave as expected under different conditions.
• Test Data Generation: Create and gather comprehensive test data through APIs, ensuring thorough coverage and diverse data sets for testing.
• Automated Testing Frameworks: Design, develop, and manage automated testing frameworks using Python, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the development team, engaging in code reviews and actively contributing valuable insights based on your testing expertise.
• Testing Accuracy: Regularly review and validate the accuracy of generated test scripts, combining both manual and automated tools to ensure high-quality results.
• Early Defect Identification: Collaborate with the development team to identify and address defects early in the development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality software.
• Optimization: Apply knowledge of data structures and algorithms to optimize test script generation, improving efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript, with a strong grasp of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience using Gen AI tools for generating test scripts and verifying APIs.
• Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies, particularly with user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Hands-on experience in UI and API testing.
• Experience in generating and retrieving test data through APIs for testing purposes.
• Strong coding skills with an understanding of software design principles.
• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to identify potential issues in the software development process.
