Your Role at TTU
???? Research & Innovation:
- Design and conduct advanced lab-scale experiments utilizing cutting-edge AI and ML methodologies.
- Analyze complex datasets using diverse analytical techniques and collaborate on modeling efforts to support experimental design.
???? AI and Machine Learning Applications:
- Develop and optimize AI/ML solutions for a wide range of applications, including aviation data modeling and analytics.
???? Collaboration & Mentorship:
- Work closely with a team of expert researchers, student assistants, and external sponsors to achieve groundbreaking research objectives.
- Mentor and inspire graduate students and junior researchers.
???? Project Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute innovative research projects under the guidance of the IMMS Director.
- Ensure adherence to robust safety protocols and compliance with health and safety regulations.
What You Bring to the Table:
?? Required Qualifications:
- PhD in a relevant discipline such as AI, machine learning, computer science, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of modern research practices and the ability to organize and prioritize objectives independently.
- Exceptional ability to integrate resources, policies, and information to achieve research outcomes.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with researchers and stakeholders.
?? Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in designing and implementing AI/ML applications and functional programming using languages like Python, Java, Scala, C#, or open-source analytics tools.
- Experience in aviation data modeling and analytics.
- A proven track record of publishing impactful research in respected journals.
