What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant analytical field and at least 2 years of hands-on experience in retail and CPG.
• Proficiency in Python (including pandas, building classes, and productionizing models) and SQL.
• Experience with Statistical Modeling and Machine Learning techniques.
• Passion for turning complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong data visualization and storytelling skills to present your findings clearly to stakeholders.
• A knack for prototyping and continuously refining models to improve accuracy.

Your Responsibilities:

• Transform Data: Dive deep into both structured and unstructured data to uncover valuable trends and patterns.
• Build Predictive Models: Leverage machine learning algorithms to create models that anticipate future outcomes.
• Collaborate: Work closely with engineering and product teams to bring AI/ML prototypes to life, solving customer challenges.
• Data Presentation: Bring data to life through compelling visualizations that tell the story behind the numbers.
• Innovate: Continuously evaluate and refine models, ensuring they solve real-world business problems.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• Expertise in Python and SQL, with a strong understanding of basic machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with transaction and time series data.
• Ability to understand complex software and system architecture at scale.
• Strong communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

Bonus Points for:

• Hands-on experience with Python ML tools like Pytorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, scikit-learn, Jupyter Notebooks, and Numpy.
• Familiarity with Spark.
• Knowledge of UI tools like Flask, Plotly, or Streamlit.
• Experience in continuous integration, testing, deployment, and release methodologies.
• Participation in Kaggle competitions to sharpen your skills.
