Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept:
- Elevate the Journey Management Practice: Lead and scale our Journey Management function, shaping its evolution while embedding journey-centric practices into every corner of our organization.
- Drive Journey Innovation: Own the end-to-end customer journey, partnering with Product, Engineering, CX, UX, and EX teams to transform insights into actionable outcomes that directly influence product and service innovation.
- Lead Discovery Research: Spearhead proactive research planning and execution, leveraging your expert research skills to deeply understand customer needs and behaviors, ensuring that discovery findings are continuously influencing strategy.
- Build Cross-Functional Bridges: Collaborate seamlessly with key stakeholders, aligning teams across disciplines around shared KPIs and creating a united vision for journey success.
- Champion Data-Driven Design: Oversee the integration of research and journey management tools, ensuring data and insights are easily accessible, actionable, and leveraged to fuel continuous optimization of the customer journey.
- Foster a Culture of Transformation: As a cultural champion, you’ll lead the charge in driving organizational change, advocating for the widespread adoption of journey management practices and building a future-focused, user-centered company culture.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 10+ Years of Expertise: Deep experience in user research, experience design, or service design, with a proven track record of leading impactful, customer-centric design processes and journey management initiatives.
- Leadership with Vision: Experience leading cross-functional teams and scaling practices that improve organizational maturity and design impact, particularly in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Strategic & Operational Balance: Ability to think big while managing the fine details—creating robust journey frameworks, while using data to constantly adapt and optimize.
- Expert Research Knowledge: Solid understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with a track record of driving insights that influence major business decisions.
- Strong Collaborative Skills: A leader who thrives on building strong relationships and driving alignment across teams. Your communication skills are top-notch, and you know how to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Agile Mindset: A solid grasp of agile project management and experience in managing fast-moving initiatives that deliver real value.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience in B2B E-commerce or related fields
- Hands-on experience with leading Journey Management tools such as TheyDo, Cemantica, or Smaply
- Experience integrating AI and automation into workflows for enhanced user insights
